Light Up for Mito is a global campaign hosted by International Mito Patients (IMP) involving illuminating landmarks in green to raise awareness of mitochondrial disease (mito). This year's date is Saturday 24 September 2022.

Last year on 25 September 2021, we saw a staggering 237 monuments light up all across the world to raise awareness of mito. (Spain: 50, Finland:43, Canada: 38, Australia: 28, Italy: 35, France: 8, UK: 10, Romania:3, Bulgaria: 5, Mexico: 3, Germany: 2, Argentina: 2, US: 4, Chile: 4, Slovakia: 1, Japan: 1).
